My Mission

Hello, my name is Savannah Perkinson and I love animals more than anything in this world.  My dream is to become an exotic animal veterinarian.

When I was 13 years old and in middle school, I had a project assigned to me by one of my teachers.  The topic was, “How Could I Change the World”.  I decided to focus on animals, of course.  What started off as just a school project turned into this website and then a non-profit charity.

Furry Friend Charities became a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit Organization in June of 2018,                EIN#83-0919389

Once my charity was set up I created a grant called, “The Kelsey Grant”.  This grant supports Floridians who are financially struggling to provide veterinary care for their pets.  Within a few months, I raised over $2,000 and I was able to begin helping my local furry friends.

In order to raise funds for The Kelsey Grant, I hold dog washes (instead of car washes) and raffles.  You can also support Furry Friend Charities through Amazon Smile or donations through this website.
